Dr. Charu Dutt Arora is a certified medical doctor who is an inquisitive ardent admirer of medical science and whose interest in the field of medicine is strengthened by graduating MBBS as a Gold Medalist from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai, India. He has been the recipient of the prestigious JRD Tata Scholarship for five years, the AMSC champion in 2014, and the Dr. PM Pai Award for outstanding performance in Microbiology.

Dr. Charu is a young physician and attained post-doctoral (MD) clinical and research experience in the US at Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles of Keck School of Medicine of USC. He has completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases (FIID)from the School of Public Health at UNSW, Australia. He recently was certified for Fellowship in Critical Care Nutrition by the RCP (UK). He is a member of the American Academy of Home Care Physicians.

His areas of interest include Primary Care, Home Care, Sepsis in Critical Care, Medical and Nursing Education, Tropical diseases, Global Health and Health in Transgender and Gender minorities. He is an avid clinical researcher and has more than 50 papers and presentations to his name. He is heading as the Medical Consultant of the Home Care vertical of the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences.

He holds editorial board positions in prestigious nutrition, public health, pediatrics, and gastroenterology journals. During his medical training, he was the General Secretary of the Asian Medical Students’ Association (India chapter). He is also a public health enthusiast and visited many parts of Asia and Africa to conduct community service programs.
